About us

Everyday help, made simple.

We want to make everyday help as easy to access as ordering a ride or a food delivery.

Our vision

Our goal is a platform where customers can find and book trusted local services within minutes, while providers can earn from their professional experience, practical abilities, hobbies or available time, regardless of the language they speak.

With instant calendar booking, trusted profiles, flexible availability and multilingual communication, OnIt should remove the unnecessary effort that exists on both sides today.

Our mission

To make local help fast, easy, trusted and accessible, while creating flexible earning opportunities for people who are ready to help. We want to build a place where:

  • customers can quickly find someone reliable for everyday tasks;
  • providers can decide what they offer, when they work and how much they charge;
  • language barriers do not prevent people from connecting;
  • useful skills, practical experience and available time can become real opportunities.

We're not working on OnIt because we observed the problem from a distance. We're working on it because we've experienced many parts of it ourselves.

OnIt is our attempt to turn those experiences into something useful: a simpler way for people to connect, help each other and get things done.

Maryam Bauske & Niloofar Schnizler

We're Maryam Bauske and Niloofar Schnizler, two friends who came to Germany seven years ago as international students.

Since then, we've completed our master's degrees in engineering, built our careers and experienced life in Germany from many perspectives: as students, immigrants, full-time professionals and people simply trying to manage everyday life.

Over time, we kept noticing the same problem. Finding reliable help for everyday tasks is often much harder than it should be. Busy professionals may not have the time. Families and elderly people may need an extra pair of hands. Even a simple task like assembling furniture, painting a room, shopping, gardening, moving or getting help with paperwork can involve endless searching, messages and schedule changes.

Hiring a traditional professional isn't always the right solution either. It can be expensive, unavailable at short notice or unnecessary for smaller, everyday jobs.

At the same time, there are many people who are ready to help. Some have useful skills in repairs, tutoring, translation, technology or furniture assembly. Others have practical experience, a hobby they enjoy or simply some free time they'd like to use to earn extra income. Students, professionals, newcomers and many others could support people nearby, but there's often no simple and trusted way for both sides to find each other.

We realised we understood both sides of this problem. We know what it's like to need help quickly and want a simple, trustworthy way to book it. We also understand the wish to earn flexibly, use your abilities or make good use of the time you have. That's where the idea for OnIt began.

OnIt isn't officially founded yet. We're developing and validating the idea, speaking with potential customers, providers and experts to understand how we can build a platform that genuinely solves these problems.

Help us create OnIt

We're validating the idea and talking to future customers and providers. Two short surveys that ask for no name or email address shape what we build.
